Sales of Product, Services and Associate Memberships

SM-S is providing information and services on the Internet (collectively referred to as "web services") as a benefit and service in furtherance of SM-S's Associates for nonprofit and tax-exempt status. SM-S makes no representations about the suitability of this information and these services for any purpose.  

Discounts

When placing your order it is your responsibility to ensure any promotion, coupon or other discount code is entered prior to finalizing your order.  The Service Management Society ("SM-S") is unable to apply, grant credit or make adjustments for these items after an order has been placed.

Force Majeure

SM-S shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Disclaimer

The nature of Internet communications means that your communications may be susceptible to data corruption, interception and delays. SM-S shall not be responsible for any detrimental reliance you place on this website or its contents where our records indicate we did not receive a request, or order.  All such orders and requests generate a confirmation message, normally sent via email.  If you did not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time period, check your email trash or spam areas and then contact us directly.

Although the SM-S website includes links providing direct access to other Internet sites, SM-S takes no responsibility for the content or information contained on those other sites, and does not exert any editorial or other control over those other sites.

Downloadable Products

Our downloadable products are created to be downloaded and stored on one computer. Occasionally file encryption or other control measures are used to prevent copying, cutting or pasting. Attempting to move, view or utilize such products on another device may result in corruption of the product. Unless otherwise specified, downloads are NOT printable and cannot be returned once downloaded.

Returns

Orders for items already shipped must be returned for a refund.  Refer to the Return and Refund Policy for more information.

You must contact Customer Care to cancel orders for Associate membership, renewals, or component membership. Knowledge & Wisdom printed articles cannot be canceled.

If an order has not yet been shipped, the user may view the details of the order and choose the Cancel Order button.

If an order has been shipped, the Cancel Order function is not available to the user.
