The Service Management Society (SM-S) operates a number of programs that support our mission and objectives. The Industry Research program provides vital information inputs to all other programs on a request, and continuous basis.

The Research Program is focused on trends and future directions of service industry at large, as well as the knowledge and skills required by service management roles working within the industry and operates through a Committee.

The program has a charter providing a mandate and governance framework for Committee operations.  The Committee published plans and a status report on a regularly scheduled basis.
