Our Objectives

In order to fulfill our corporate mission, the Society will work to achieve the following objectives:

  1. To establish a qualification scheme for the service management professional supported by a community-led management and improvement program;
  2. To establish a body of knowledge for the service management professional supported by a community-led management and improvement program;
  3. To establish a communications medium to enable and listen to the requirements of the service management professional community;
  4. To establish operations and financial plans that guarantees self-sufficiency from membership, sponsorship and qualification scheme related revenues;
  5. To establish an organizational structure to support the ongoing management and achievement of these objectives.
 
In fulfilling these objectives the Society provides every Associate member the opportunity to define the profession's body of knowledge and qualification scheme, and enables the "voice of the service management professional".
