The Service Management Society, Inc. ("SM-S") is a non-profit corporation organized to support individuals, groups and organizations interested or engaged in furthering their careers in the Service Management profession.

Our Vision

Our vision is to constantly assist the advancement service management professional careers and differentiate their value, making them indispensable in achieving business results, by maintaining a qualification scheme linked to a national and international standards, supported by a body of knowledge relevant to the service management industry.

Our Mission

We shall achieve our vision by fulfilling the following mission statements:

  • To promote career and professional development opportunities by providing a community network for service management professionals where personal information related to career and education achievements, current and past experiences, can be exchanged securely and safely
  • To develop, evaluate, and disseminate the highest quality, standards-based education curriculum that fosters a service management professional’s lifelong ethical, social, and intellectual development;
  • To maintain a comprehensive and universally applicable service management body of knowledge, setting professional standards of recognition, through conducting research and listening to the 'voice of the professional'™.
