Certified in Service Management Fundamentals

This is the home page for the Certified in Service Management Fundamentals (CSMF) credential.

This credential offers a holistic approach to service management specifically designed around the USMBOK definition of a serivce management system and organization. The credential explores in fundamental and basic terms the key elements of a service management system, and operational components of a service provider organization.

The scope includes a general introduction to the fifteen stage service lifecycle, its nine supporting lifecycles, the seven major knowledge domains (roles/responsibilities) and the forty knowledge areas (competencies/skills) within a service organization. Special emphasis is given to the service request, incident, problem and change management topics. 

Updated information will be posted here for registered guests and Associates to review following final approval by the Society's Service Management Qualification Scheme Advisory Committee.
