Service Management Qualification Program

Program Overview

The Service Management Society offers a personal accreditation certificate program approved as a preliminary applicant for accreditation by the American National Standards Institute® (ANSI). The Society is committed to completing the journey through the ANSI process to full approval.

Earning a credential through the Society's qualification program means that one has:

• Demonstrated the appropriate education and/or professional experience;
• Passed a rigorous role and subject specific examination;
• Committed to maintaining the relevance and currencyof the knowledge related to the credential by meeting continuing certification requirements that incorporate actual work experiences.

The credentials are available to any individual able to meet the minimum qualification criteria described within each credential specification.  This is typically a combination of a proven level of education, knowledge and work experience in the service management industry, but will vary by the individual certificate.
